City of Milwaukee

The City of Milwaukee occupies five Liberty Modern Streetcars for the city’s 2.1 mile route. The Liberty
Streetcar acquires power from BROOKVILLE’S onboard energy storage system (OESS) and an overhead
catenary system (OCS). The City of Milwaukee’s Streetcar runs through key commercial and residential
segments of Milwaukee landmarks and attractions, like Milwaukee Public Market, the Historic Third
Ward neighborhood, East Town, Lower East Side, and Cathedral Square Park, while also connecting
riders to the city’s downtown intermodal station, providing service to 1.4 million annual users.
