MARION VAN FOSSON APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF BROOKVILLE EQUIPMENT CORPORATION

Marion H. Van Fosson began his tenure as the President of Brookville Equipment Corporation (BROOKVILLE) on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, and will oversee the Pennsylvania-based manufacturer’s long-term strategy and daily operations across all business units, including mining, tunneling, locomotives, and streetcar products.

Mr. Van Fosson succeeds BROOKVILLE CEO, Chairman and interim President Dalph S. McNeil, who held the post for the past two months following the retirement of Larry Conrad. Van Fosson’s experience includes over 25 years of varying levels of leadership roles and a proven portfolio of driving growth for producers of highly engineered equipment with complex manufacturing requirements for midsize to large-size businesses. He also served in the United States Army for 22 years before retiring in 2001.

While with the United States Army, Van Fosson led combat vehicle development efforts for the startup Defense Advanced Research Program Agency (DARPA). Additional accolades include directing engineering and serving as chief scientist at the Joint National Test Facility for Aerospace Defense, developing command, control and communications systems for hostile environments, and serving as an Assistant Professor of Physics at West Point.

In the private sector, he served as President for Northrop Grumman’s Litton Electro-Optical Systems Division. Van Fosson also was VP and General Manager at BAE Systems in the Aerospace Defense business unit. Van Fosson has also held the position of VP and General Manager at EMS Technologies Defense, reigniting growth for the company which led to the acquisition and integration into Honeywell.

Mr. Van Fosson holds a Master of Science in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University and will be relocating to Western Pennsylvania with his wife, Kathryn.
